Many of the most common acupuncture points are located on the lower leg between the knee and the toes and also from the elbow joint to the hands.

However the first session often requires access to the patients back. The use of points on the back or body will always be done with the minimum of exposure, consent, and respect. There are gowns and blankets available to minimise exposure.

The practitioner is male and he will always  vacate the room if you need to change into a gown

Please don’t wear tight fitting jeans  or trousers. Many of the points are just below the knee and it is often difficult to roll up the trouser legs if they are skinny fit.

You are more than welcome to bring someone along with you.
