This depends on the effect required and your individual diagnosis. On some occasions the needles are left in place for about 20 Minutes, other times for only a few seconds. Needles are also inserted bi-laterally so if a point is chosen on your hand then both hands will be needled.

Before the needles are inserted we always make sure that you are in a comfortable position. The Wolverhampton clinic has an adjustable treatment couch and we often support your arms and legs with towels and blankets.
